Social Media: Brookside CDC

Brookside CDC’s social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) are used as platforms for spreading awareness for the causes Brookside champions, insights into partnerships and organizational goals, and multimedia marketing for various events. Each page needs to feel cohesive, distinctly ‘Brookside,’ and requires a strategic plan for engagement and posting strategies.

Branding: In Hope Celebration Dinner

CD InspoGuideline Pages.jpg

Brookside CDC’s annual Celebration Dinner is an event designed to bring together community members, donors, and volunteers to celebrate the progress made and look forward to what’s to come. This is a fundraising event, with the primary goal being to raise money to support Brookside’s programs throughout the year. The organization relies heavily on multimedia marketing to sell tickets and secure partnerships, making a cohesive brand critical to success.

I chose to derive our title, “In Hope,” from a Bible verse central to the organization. I pulled the flame inspiration from a past campaign to keep a familiar theme, but redesigned it to be distinct and clearly recognizable. I also incorporated Brookside’s signature mosaic in the design of the flame. A palette of dark colors was chosen for the background to make the brighter, bolder colors jump off the screen.

This event’s branding was intended to feel bright, familiar, and warm. It draws the eye and commands attention, making it ideal for our marketing goals.
