Joanie was my talented grandmother. She owned a restaurant, was an incredible person, and she used to make custom wedding cakes, too! Unfortunately, Joanie passed away before I was old enough to know her. She did, however, pass along her recipes, sketchbooks, and a bit of baking talent, and I was able to pick up her craft from what she left behind!

Everything I make has a little bit of Joanie in it – her flavors, her techniques, and her skill. It’s an honor to bake with her!
